A student of Science, Religion, Philosophy, English literature and media, Asif completed his Masters in Mass communication and Journalism from the prestigious University of Kashmir. His first book ” Prisoners of Paradise” was widely read and appreciated by the readers. Asif also loves to write poetry on themes of love, yearning, romance etc. Besides, he is a freelancer feature writer, movie critic and book reviewer. His writings have been published at both regional and national level like Free Press Kashmir, Kashmir Observer, Rising Kashmir, Kashmir reader and the citizen.
